Refunds and Return Policy
Effective date: July 1, 2026. This policy applies to purchases made directly from Bantam Clean Power at bantamcleanpower.com. Purchases made through authorized resellers or distributors are governed by the reseller's return policy.
Our commitment
We build our products to work for decades, not warranty periods. If something is not right with your order, we want to make it right. This page explains how returns, refunds, and exchanges work when you buy directly from us.
30-day return window
You may return most products purchased from bantamcleanpower.com within 30 days of the delivery date. To be eligible for a return, the product must be:
- In its original condition, unused and undamaged
- In its original packaging with all included accessories, hardware, and documentation
- Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or receipt)
Products that show signs of installation, use, or modification may be refused or subject to a reduced refund at our discretion.
Restocking fee
Non-defective returns are subject to a 10 percent restocking fee, deducted from your refund. The restocking fee is waived when:
- The product arrived defective or damaged
- We shipped the wrong item
- You are exchanging the product for another Bantam Clean Power product of equal or greater value
Return shipping
For non-defective returns, you are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping method and insuring the shipment; we cannot issue refunds for returns lost or damaged in transit.
For defective, damaged, or incorrectly shipped items, we cover return shipping. Contact us first and we will provide a prepaid return label.
Defective or damaged on arrival
If your product arrives damaged or fails on first use, contact us within 30 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or full refund, including original and return shipping, at no cost to you. Please keep the original packaging and, if the carton arrived visibly damaged, photograph it before opening; this helps us resolve carrier claims quickly.
Non-returnable items
The following are not eligible for return unless defective:
- Custom, modified, or OEM-configured products built to your specifications
- Products marked as final sale or clearance at the time of purchase
- Products purchased more than 30 days before the return request
How to start a return
Do not ship a product back without contacting us first. Returns received without a return authorization may be delayed or refused.
- Contact us at sales@bantamcleanpower.com or through our contact page with your order number and the reason for the return.
- We will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and the return shipping address.
- Pack the product securely in its original packaging, write the RMA number on the outside of the carton, and ship it to the address provided.
Refund processing
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval status. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, less any applicable restocking fee. Please allow 5 to 10 business days after approval for the refund to appear on your statement; timing depends on your bank or card issuer. Original shipping charges are non-refundable except for defective, damaged, or incorrectly shipped items.
Exchanges
If you ordered the wrong model for your application, we are glad to help you find the right fit. Contact us before returning the product; in many cases we can confirm the correct model for your equipment and process the exchange in one step. Exchanges for equal or greater value carry no restocking fee.
Warranty claims
This return policy covers purchase decisions; it is separate from product warranty coverage. If a product fails after the 30-day return window, it may be covered under the product warranty described in the documentation included with your product. Contact us and we will walk you through the warranty claim process.
Your rights
Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies you may have under applicable law, including consumer protection laws of your state or country of residence.
