Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Lodestone LLC, doing
business as Bantam Clean Power (“Bantam Clean Power,” “we,” “us,” or
“our”), collects through bantamcleanpower.com and its online store, why
we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices and legal rights
you have over it.
It applies to this website and to the sales, support, and
order-fulfillment activity that runs through it. It does not apply to
information you give to our authorized distributors, who handle your
information under their own policies.
Most of our business is with organizations rather than individuals.
Even so, the information we collect is usually attached to a person — a
purchasing agent, an engineer, an IT director — and this policy treats
it as personal information regardless of whether you contacted us on
your own behalf or your employer’s.

1. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you use the contact form. Your name, company or
agency, email address, telephone number, and whatever you write in the
message field, including any product, application, or deployment details
you choose to share.
When you create an account. Your email address. A
password is set by a link we email to you; we never see it in readable
form.
When you place an order. Your billing and shipping
name, address, email address, and telephone number; the products
ordered; the order total; and any notes you add to the order. If your
organization buys under a purchase order or tax exemption, that includes
the reference numbers and documentation you provide.
When you contact us for support or warranty service.
Your contact details, proof of purchase, the serial or model numbers
involved, and your description of the issue.
Payment card information is not collected by us.
Card details are entered into and processed by our payment providers,
Stripe and PayPal. They pass back only a confirmation, the payment
method type, and the last four digits. Full card numbers never reach our
servers and we cannot retrieve them.
Information collected
automatically
When you visit the site we and our analytics provider receive your IP
address, general location inferred from it (city or region, not a
precise position), browser and device type, operating system, referring
page, the pages you view, and the dates and times of your visits.
Our store also records how you first arrived — search engine,
referring site, or direct — so we can attribute orders to their source.
This is done with the WooCommerce SourceBuster cookies described in our
Cookie Policy.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site
is used in aggregate. Google processes this data on our behalf. You can
prevent it entirely with Google’s browser opt-out
add-on, or by declining statistics cookies in our consent
banner.
We display a TrustedSite certification badge.
TrustedSite is an outside company; the badge is served from its systems,
and loading it lets TrustedSite set its own cookies and receive your IP
address and browser characteristics. We do not control what it does with
that information, and its own privacy policy governs it.
Cookies
Our Cookie Policy lists the cookies
this site sets, what each does, and how long it lasts. You can set your
preferences through the consent banner at any time, and most browsers
let you block or delete cookies directly. Blocking essential cookies
will break the cart and checkout.
Information we do not
collect
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information as
California law defines it — no government identifiers, financial account
credentials, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, religious
beliefs, union membership, health information, biometric data, or the
contents of your mail, email, or messages. We do not ask for it and we
ask that you not send it to us. If you do, we will delete it once we
have dealt with your request.
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces
legal or similarly significant effects.
2. Why we use it
We use the information above to:
- respond to your inquiries and send the technical documentation, test
data, and specifications you ask for; - process, fulfill, and ship your orders, and handle returns, refunds,
and warranty claims; - maintain your account and let you view your order history;
- provide customer and technical support;
- understand how the site is used, and improve its content, structure,
and performance; - measure the effectiveness of our advertising, and — as described in
section 3 — potentially to show you our advertising on other sites; - detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- keep the business records that tax, accounting, warranty, and
export-control obligations require of us; and - comply with the law and enforce our Terms.
We do not use your information for any materially different purpose
without telling you first.
3. Advertising, and what we
share
We want to be exact about this, because the law draws a line here and
the honest answer sits close to it.
We have linked our Google Analytics property to a Google Ads
account. Today that link is used for measurement. We are not
running advertising campaigns, we have built no remarketing or
retargeting audiences, and no advertising tag runs on this website. We
expect this to change when our new site launches, at which point
analytics data — the identifier Google assigns your browser, the pages
you viewed, and the approximate location inferred from your IP address —
may be used both to measure our campaigns and to show you our
advertising on other websites.
California law calls that second use “sharing for
cross-context behavioral advertising.” Rather than change this
policy later and hope you notice, we treat the link as sharing from
today, and you can opt out of it now at Your Privacy Choices.
The categories that may be shared for this purpose are
identifiers (the cookie or device identifier Google
assigns, and your IP address), internet or network
activity (the pages you viewed and how you arrived), and
approximate geolocation (city or region inferred from
your IP address). They are shared with Google. Nothing else is shared
for advertising, and no other advertising network receives anything.
We do not sell personal information — not for money
and not for anything else of value — and we have not done so in the
preceding twelve months. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal
information of consumers under 16 years of age.

4. Who we disclose it to
We disclose personal information to the service providers who help us
run the business, and — for the advertising purpose described in section
3 — to Google. Service providers are bound by contract to use it solely
on our instructions. They are:
- Payment processing — Stripe and PayPal. When you
pay through PayPal, PayPal also handles your information under its own
policy as an independent business, not merely on our behalf. - Hosting and website infrastructure — the vendors
who host bantamcleanpower.com and keep it secure and backed up. - Analytics and advertising — Google, for Google
Analytics 4 and for the linked Google Ads account described in section
3. - Site certification — TrustedSite, which serves the
certification badge shown on our pages and receives your IP address and
browser characteristics when it loads. - Customer relationship management — Zoho CRM, which receives contact-form and order information so we can track and answer inquiries. It does not track your activity on this website.
- Shipping and logistics — the carriers who deliver
your order, which requires your name, address, and telephone
number. - Professional advisors — our accountants, auditors,
and attorneys, where they need it to advise us.
We may also disclose personal information when the law requires it —
in response to a subpoena, court order, or lawful government request; to
establish or defend legal claims; to protect the rights, property, or
safety of any person; or in connection with a merger, acquisition,
financing, or sale of assets, in which case we will note the change
here.
5. How long we keep it
We keep personal information for as long as it is needed for the
purpose it was collected for, and then for as long as we are required to
keep it.
What that means in practice: order and payment records are kept for
the periods that tax, accounting, and warranty obligations require;
inquiries are kept while we are working on them and for a reasonable
period afterward, in case you come back to us; account information is
kept until you close the account. Information we no longer need is
deleted or de-identified.
6. How we protect it
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate
to the sensitivity of the information — encryption in transit, access
limited to staff who need it, and payment handling delegated to
PCI-compliant processors so that card data never rests on our
systems.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we
cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affecting your personal
information occurs, we will notify you as the law requires.
7. Your rights
If you are a California
resident
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the
California Privacy Rights Act, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected
about you, where we got it, why we collected it, and who we have
disclosed it to; - Access a copy of the specific pieces of personal
information we hold about you, in a portable format; - Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Delete personal information we have collected from
you, subject to the exceptions the law allows — we may keep what we need
to complete a transaction, honor a warranty, detect fraud, or meet a
legal obligation; - Opt out of the sharing of your personal information
for cross-context behavioral advertising, as described in section 3. Use
Your Privacy Choices. We do not
sell personal information, so there is nothing further to opt out
of; - Limit the use of sensitive personal information. We
do not collect it, so this right does not arise; and - Be free from discrimination for exercising any of
these rights. We will not deny you products, charge you a different
price, or give you a lesser level of service.
Opt-out preference signals. We honor the Global
Privacy Control. If your browser or an extension sends a GPC signal, we
treat it as a request to opt out of sharing, and we apply it to that
browser without your having to do anything else.
If
you live in another US state with a comprehensive privacy law
If you are a resident of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah,
Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New
Jersey, Minnesota, Maryland, Rhode Island, Indiana, Kentucky, or
Tennessee, we extend you the same rights described above — access,
correction, deletion, and a portable copy of your data — on the same
terms and through the same contact address. You also have the right to
opt out of targeted advertising, which you exercise
through the same Your Privacy
Choices page.
Several of these states also give you the right to appeal if we
decline your request. If we do decline, we will tell you why and how to
appeal, and we will respond to an appeal within the time your state’s
law allows. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state
attorney general.
How to make a request
Email privacy@bantamcleanpower.com, or write to us
at the address in section 11. Tell us which right you want to exercise
and give us enough detail to find your records — the email address you
used, and any relevant order number.
An advertising opt-out is different: it needs no verification and no
email. Use Your Privacy Choices and
it takes effect immediately.
For the other rights, we will verify your identity before we act,
usually by confirming that you control the email address associated with
the information, and by asking you to confirm details that match our
records. For a deletion or a request for specific pieces of information,
we may ask for more. We will not use the information you give us for
verification for anything else.
We respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you
within that period and take up to 45 days more. There is no charge
unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, in which case we
will tell you why before doing anything.
Authorized agents. You may use an agent to make a
request. We will ask for written proof that you authorized them, and we
may still ask you to verify your own identity directly.
8. Third-party links and
embedded content
Our pages link to distributors, standards bodies, testing
laboratories, and other outside sites, and some pages embed content
hosted elsewhere — including the TrustedSite badge described above.
Embedded content behaves as if you had visited that site directly: the
third party can collect data about you, set its own cookies, and track
your interaction with it. We do not control these sites and this policy
does not cover them. Read their policies.
9. Where your information is
held
We operate in the United States and store personal information here.
If you contact us or order from outside the United States, you are
sending your information to the United States, where privacy laws differ
from those in your country.
We do not currently offer products or services to individuals in the
European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, and this policy does not
attempt to describe rights under the GDPR. If you are in either place
and have a question about information we hold, write to us and we will
help.
10. Children
This site is intended for businesses, government agencies, and adult
purchasers. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly
collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a
child has given us personal information, email
privacy@bantamcleanpower.com and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this
policy, and how to reach us
If we change this policy we will post the revised version here with a
new effective date and version number. If the change is significant, we
will say so prominently on the site. The date at the top always tells
you which version is in force.
